To promote apprenticeships in floristry through liaison with NZHITO

Membership is open to individual florists, floral art groups, florist businesses, also businesses associated with the florist industry, wholesalers, auction houses, growers, importers, service providers to the florist industry such as couriers, floristry tutors, telecommunication, insurance specialists, financiers – in fact any individual, organization, business or industry with an interest in strengthening the standard & prosperity of floristry in New Zealand

About FLONZI

FLONZI is a non profit incorporated society established in 2006 with a representative on the board of the New Zealand Horticulture Industry Training Organisation (NZHITO).

Membership of FLONZI is open to all persons or organisations associated with the flower industry. Applications for membership are to be made in writing to the Society Secretary. Click here for FLONZI Membership Application form.

Industry Support & Apprenticeship

Florists New Zealand Incorporated represents the floristry and floriculture sectors on the NZHITO board. Like all Modern Apprenticeships, the floristry apprenticeship is designed to take three years to complete, so if you become a modern apprentice you will be working towards the National Certificates in Floristry (Advanced strand) (Level 4) qualification.
